Facebook disables Wide Receiver

Facebook has decided that my Wide Receiver profile, which I have had for years now, is a fake profile. Wide Receiver has been my nick-name and nom de plume that I have written reviews, short stories, blogs, news reports, and other things under ever since my first semester at university, right after high school, by a pledge-master of a fraternity after a hazing ceremony. 

I had no desire to cause difficulties for those fraternities, the students and athletes, or other individuals that I have been involved with, so I use this name on Twitter, Tumblr, StumbleUpon, YouTube, Myspace, LinkedIn, deviantART, Flickr, and many more, including a website, whenever I write about my experiences or issues that could be construed to be controversial or otherwise out of the mainstream. 

I do hope that Facebook realizes that they are be capricious and arbitrary with their relatively new enforcement of names, if not, then discrimininatory given that I have found hundreds of examples of “not real names” such as Celtic Nation, Native American, and Hell Fires to name only a very few.

They should restore my Wide Receiver profile or admit that they are discriminating against LGBT profiles or they should disabled all profiles that even appear to be not listed on any birth certificate.
